1. About AshenRO
AshenRO is a free, fan-run Ragnarok Online private server. It is not affiliated with or endorsed by Gravity. By creating an account or playing, you agree to these terms and the Server Rules.
2. Eligibility and account responsibility
You must be at least 13 years old. If you are below the age at which you can accept these terms under applicable law, a parent or guardian must approve your use. Each account is for one person. You are responsible for keeping your credentials private and for activity carried out through your account.
3. Accounts and game data
Accounts, characters, items, zeny, Cash Points and VIP status are permissions to use the service, not an ownership interest in server assets. They have no redeemable monetary value and cannot be sold, transferred for money or claimed as personal property. Your rights in personal data remain governed by applicable law and the Privacy Policy.
4. Wipes, rollbacks and changes
AshenRO may change game data, rates, features and rules, or reset or roll back progress, including a full wipe. Material changes will be announced on the official Discord. No particular item, feature, rate or progression state is guaranteed to remain available.
5. Availability
The service is provided as available. There is no uptime guarantee, and it may be interrupted or closed permanently. To the extent allowed by law, no compensation is provided for downtime, closure or lost game progress.
6. Enforcement
Staff may restrict, suspend or terminate accounts under the published Server Rules. Sanctions can extend to linked accounts and devices. The evidence standards, sanction ladder and appeal process are set out in those rules. If donations are offered, the donation terms presented before payment will also apply; no term overrides rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.
7. Client, launcher and other software
The client and launcher are provided as-is. Keep them updated and use them through the supported launch process. Unauthorised modifications, cheating tools and attempts to bypass limits or protections breach these terms. The allowed Auto Battle and Auto Support systems remain subject to the rules.
8. Player content
Chat, character and guild names, and community posts must follow the behaviour rules. Staff may remove content that breaches those rules and use activity and chat logs for moderation and investigation, as described in the Privacy Policy.
9. Warranties, liability and governing law
To the extent permitted by applicable law, AshenRO is provided without warranties and the operators are not liable for losses arising from outages, errors, changes, closure or use of the service. Nothing in these terms excludes liability or rights that cannot legally be excluded. These terms are governed by Singapore law, subject to any mandatory protections that apply to you.
10. Changes and contact
The date at the top of this page identifies the current version. Material updates will be announced on Discord. Continued play after an announced effective date signifies acceptance to the extent permitted by law; where further consent is required, it must be obtained separately.
