Server Information
A classic pre-renewal Ragnarok Online server with modern-client conveniences and quality-of-life systems designed to support both solo and group play.
Episode 10.1
Available content includes Ayothaya, Louyang, Gonryun, Amatsu, Umbala and Niflheim. Rachel, Thor and 3rd jobs are not part of the current ruleset.
Super Novice is available. Taekwon, Ninja and Gunslinger arrive with later episodes. Mercenaries are opened early despite normally arriving in Episode 12.
Modern client, classic game
Maximum stats are 99 and maximum ASPD is 190. Cards from normal monsters drop at 0.02%, twice the classic rate; boss and MVP cards remain at their classic rate.
A 2021 kRO client ships with full English item and NPC text, extra hairstyles and palettes, drop-pillar effects, HD damage numbers, a cash shop and the AshenRO Patcher. Run the patcher before playing. Each player may run a maximum of two game clients.

Every town Kafra offers its normal destinations plus a warp to Prontera for 10,000 zeny; Prontera's own Kafras do not offer that route. The additional warp grants no Kafra reserve points.
Teleport Lv. 1 is instant, including Teleport from Creamy Card, and behaves like a Fly Wing without opening the Random / Cancel menu. Teleport Lv. 2 still offers your save point.
Account services and rankings
Create accounts and reset forgotten passwords at register.ashenro.com. My Account shows your characters and active VIP type.
The control panel lists the top 10 characters by experience, top 10 by zeny and top 3 guilds. GM accounts are excluded. The AshenRO homepage also shows the current number of players online.
VIP tiers
Standard VIP costs 2,000,000 zeny for 30 days at the VIP Desk and can also come from tickets or codes. Premium is donor-granted. Only one tier can be active: Premium replaces remaining Standard time, and Standard cannot be added during Premium. Use @checkvip to view remaining time. Gemstones are consumed by everyone; there is no VIP gemstone perk.
Prontera VIP Lounge
The bar-style hideout includes a Healing Orb, Warper, Tool Dealer, Save Point, Hunting Board, Card Extractor (5,000,000 z per card, never fails), Skill Reset and Premium Stat Reset, Repair & Identify (15,000 z) and Training Dummies. Auto Battle is disabled inside.
Ashen Coins & Treasury
Ashen Coins have a 0.5% chance to drop from monsters you kill manually and use a green drop pillar. They are never autolooted and never drop during Auto Battle. Manual kills are the only source: login rewards, quests, events and the Hunting Board do not award Ashen Coins.
Community Costumes offers more than 300 cosmetic-only items at 40, 80 and 150 coins. Cash Points are donor-granted, and the Shanks set is Limited. NPC sell prices are reduced; withheld zeny enters the public Treasury. Elemental stone drops from normal monsters are capped at 1.5%.
