Everything about how AshenRO is set up: what the rates are, how far the content goes, and the limits that apply to everyone.
- Pre-renewal, Episode 10.1. Base and job EXP are 8x and drops are 1x.
- Cards from normal monsters drop at 0.02%, double the classic rate. Boss and MVP cards are unchanged.
- Two game clients per IP address and two Auto Battle sessions per IP address, both at the same time.

Poison Spore and Red Mushroom drop Karvodailnirol at 1%, which is double the usual rate.
There is no bank. You carry your zeny with you, so think before you take a lot of it somewhere dangerous.
2Classes
Super Novice is in. Taekwon, Ninja and Gunslinger are not.
Mercenaries are open early. They normally arrive in Episode 12, but the the Sword, Spear and Bow Mercenary NPCs already stand in Prontera, because a mercenary makes solo leveling much more pleasant.
3Your account
From the 19 October 2026 client update, the first sign-in on a computer pairs it automatically. There is no PAIR button. Read the new launcher guide →
Make your account at register.ashenro.com. Every account needs its own email address, and you reset a forgotten password from the same place.
My Account shows your characters and your VIP type. Rankings shows the top 10 characters, the top 10 by zeny and the top 3 guilds. GM accounts are left out.
4The Prontera square
Prontera (153, 192) — Free heal and buffs, with no waiting time between uses. Buffs last 15 minutes free, 60 minutes on Standard VIP and 180 minutes on Premium VIP. There is one in every major town.
Prontera (156, 187) — Save point, storage and teleport. Rents a Pushcart, Falcon or PecoPeco for 5,000 zeny each.
Prontera (163, 195) — First job at job level 10, second at job level 40. Platinum skills come automatically, so there are no skill quests to run.
Prontera (181, 216) — Where you enter ASHEN88, GOLVLUP and any code the team hands out.
Prontera (164, 174) — Your daily and weekly kill quests, picked to match your level.
The platinum skills granted automatically include Energy Coat, First Aid, Charge Attack and Sight Blaster, among the rest of the set.
Also around the square: the PvP Arena at (166, 198), the VIP Warper, the Stylist, the VIP Desk, the Treasury at (144, 174), the Hunting Board, the Tool Dealer, and the three mercenary NPCs — Sword, Spear and Bow Mercenary — who stand together at (189, 180), (187, 178) and (185, 176).
The Tool Dealer sells arrows, gemstones, potions and quivers. Immaterial, Counter Evil, Holy and Freezing arrows and their quivers are deliberately not sold.
A few NPCs have been moved somewhere more convenient: the VIP Warper and Healing Orb in Alberta, Lutie and Gonryun, and the Morroc Kafra. The VIP warps to Umbala, Niflheim and Einbech use updated arrival points.
5VIP
VIP is bought at the VIP Desk for 2,000,000 zeny for 30 days, or through 7-day and 30-day tickets and redemption codes. You can also use @vip in game or the control panel. Premium is for donors.

You hold one tier at a time. Premium replaces any Standard time you have left, and you cannot add Standard while Premium is running. @checkvip tells you what is left.
There is no VIP drop-rate bonus, on purpose. Everyone gets the same drops.
Gemstones are consumed by everyone. There is no VIP gemstone perk.
6The VIP Lounge
A hideout for VIP members with its own Healing Orb, Warper, Tool Dealer, save point and Hunting Board.
It also holds the Card Extractor at 5,000,000 zeny per card, which never fails; Skill Reset and Stat Reset for Premium members; Repair and Identify at 15,000 zeny for everything you are carrying; and Training Dummies to test your damage on. Auto Battle is turned off inside.
7Limits and fair play
These limits apply to everyone, and they are about what is online at the same time, not about how many accounts you may own.

Only the server's own Auto Battle and Auto Support count as allowed automation. Anything else does not.
Enforcement follows the published server rules. Appeals are made once, through Discord, within 7 days. Bans for real-money trading cannot be appealed.
19 October update
Florian is reached through the VIP Lounge by VIP and Premium. Guild Storage, the Event Board and Ashen Coin Shop are there.
