Longer field hunts, and rewards that match the monster
- The repeatable hunt NPCs now offer bigger hunts at higher levels. NPCs from level 35 upward offer 150, 300 or 600 kills, and those from level 60 upward offer 250, 500 or 1,000. The lower-level NPCs are unchanged at 50, 100 or 150.
- Jotun Tribesman is the exception, offering 150, 300 or 600 rather than the larger sizes, because Lava Golems take far longer to kill than anything else in that range.
- Hunt rewards now scale with the monster you are hunting. A hunt pays a share of the experience those monsters give you anyway — 10% for the smallest size, 12% for the middle and 15% for the largest. So a longer hunt is worth more per kill, not just more in total, and a hunt against a tougher monster pays more than one against an easy one.
- If you already accepted a hunt before this change, it finishes on the terms you agreed to.
- Pairing is required. From 22 September 2026, 21:00 (GMT+8), an account that has not been paired cannot log in until it is. Pair each computer you play on. Fair Play & Security explains what pairing is and how to do it.
